Book Giveway - Children

Here is a midweek pick-me-up to continue the joy of Book Giveaway Week.

This one if for the little ones. Do you have a little one in your family? Then share with them the joy of books. I will pick two winners. Tell me which book you want and bit about the child with whom you read. Earn extra chances to win by posting about this giveaway in your blog - leave the link to your post in a comment. Earn a third chance to win by subscribing to this blog.

Winners will be announced Monday morning.

Animal Boogie will let you shake, shimmy and boggie-woogie-oogie with the creatures of the Indian jungle! Enjoy a tale that is bright and fun, wacky and exotic! The vibrant, fun illustrations in this book are packed full of jungle animals to find and count. The rhyme bounces along introducing a colorful collection of intriguing animals through lively word play and repetition. A musical score is included in the book.
In this sequel to Llama Llama Red Pajama, llama llama gradually learns to become a partner with Mama LLama rather than battling her.

  1. I would love to win either of these books. I read to my 14 month old daughter Isabelle. You could give her a stack of toys and a stack of books and she would go for the books every time. Her favorites are Pat the Bunny and The Foot Book by Dr. Suess

    Thanks!

  2. We would love The Animal boogie book.

I read to both of my daughters, Caity is 4 and Izzie is 20 months.

Both of my girls love being read to. It's a part of our bedtime routine and they are always so excited to crawl up in bed and hear the story.

  14. Both books look fun but the llama book is looking like one we may need around here! :) I am reading to a 3 month old (he's a captive audience) and a 2 year old (she sometimes holds still) and a 3 year old (he does not hold still unless I'm reading to him) and a 5 year old (she's just learning to read) and my oldest is turning 7 this week. He is now reading to the other kids, which they think is neat. So between the five of them, we always have someone wanting story time and both of these books look like they would be wonderful to add to our collection.

Thank you! I'm hthaden at gmail dot com.

  17. I read every evening with my six-month-old daughter, Emma. She loooves the attention, the colors, the rhyming, and to try to turn the pages herself! I think she'd like the Animal Boogie book the best because of the wild colors and the rhymes. :-) Thanks for the great giveaway!

  20. I would love to win either of these books to read to my little guy (6mos old), but I think my top pick would be the Animal Boogie because of it's bright colours! I've been reading to him since before he was born, and think it's very important to make sure we get in some reading every day (he does too, he loves it!). Most of the books we read are beyond his age range, but he's excited to be read to and we both enjoy the bonding time. If he really likes a book (and usually does if colours are at all involved) he let's me know by giving it his page slaps of approval! Please enter us if we're eligible (Canada), thank you!

My two girls, 3 and 5, would adore the Animal Boogie, the both love animals (they certainly have enough stuffed ones) and they love to dance. Of course my younger daughter has been a little miffed at Mommy lately and could probably relate to the Llama book :)
