Pulled BBQ Chicken
This is a fantastic recipe given to me by a friend. It makes tons so I recommend cutting it in half unless you want leftovers or are feeding an army.
4 pounds of chicken
1 cup of onions- chopped
2 cloves of garlic- minced or 1/2 teaspoon dry powder (not garlic salt)
1 1/2 cups of ketchup
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of chili powder
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
Mix all ingredients in a crock pot. Add pork or chicken stir in so
meat is coated. Cook 8-12 hours on low. Shred the meat and serve on
buns.

This sounds wonderful!! Do you recommend white or dark meat chicken for this?
ReplyDeleteI have used both (even in the same batch). I prefer the white meat because that is what I prefer to eat.
