Menu Planning Monday - 16 Elul

Recipe Review - We tried two new mini muffin / baked donut holes for Shabbos morning.  The first was  the Apple Cider version.  Once I adjusted the baking temp/time so I didn't burn them they turned out yummy.  I think they will be even more yummy with a richer cider than was available in August.  The pumpkin version were wonderful from the get go. I coated some with the topping and left others naked.  Both got good reviews.  The new roasted green bean and mushroom recipe is fantastic.  It gets cold very fast so needs to be made last but it is worth it.

I am working on making more Freezer meals and crockpot meals.  This is the last week before all the Fall activities start.  As well with being required to rest every afternoon having meals that can be prepared earlier in the day is a huge help.  Plus it is time to start putting stuff away for when the baby comes.

Sunday - No Abba - Mac and Cheese and Salad for the girls.
Monday - Hawaiian Chicken and Green Beans
Tuesday - Pasta, Sauce, Salad and Garlic Bread
Wednesday -Sloppy Joes, kernal corn and peas
Thursday - Leftover buffet
Shabbat - Challah, Salmon Patties, Potato Leek Soup, Pot Roast, sweet potatoes, snow peas, caramel apple cupcakes assuming I can get the parve caramel to work otherwise we will have Pumpkin Creamcheese Trifles,
and apple breakfast bread for Shabbos morning
